The Lenlok Sliding Screen Door Lock is a self-latching replacement option for suitable sliding security screen doors, with key deadlocking, an internal snib and a choice of black or white powder-coated finishes. Abetta supplies and installs suitable configurations across the Sunshine Coast.
Features and keying options
- Retrofits common sliding security screen door models, subject to checking the existing preparation.
- Self-latching action with key deadlocking.
- Internal snib, with a blanking plug supplied when the snib is not required.
- Accepts compatible Lenlok LPL-5 and Carbine CPL-5 screen door cylinders. Cylinder not included.
- Optional three-point locking kit connects through the lock and operates with a single key turn.
- Matching strike plates and 2 mm or 4 mm strike packers available.

Manufacturer testing
Lenlok reports in-house testing to the requirements of AS 4145.2, including strength testing and 240 hours of salt spray testing. Its published cycle results include 100,000 latching/unlatching cycles, 80,000 key-operated hub locking cycles and 30,000 cycles each for snib locking, three-point lock/unlock and key operation/deadlocking. These are manufacturer-reported results for the hardware; suitability of the complete door installation still needs assessment.
Replacement, cylinder keying and installation
We check the door stile, lock cut-out, fixing positions, strike alignment and existing locking rods before recommending a retrofit. A sticking lock can also result from door alignment or worn rollers. An existing three-point kit should not be assumed compatible with the new lock.
If you want the screen door to use the same key as other locks, we first check the cylinder and key system. The lock body is supplied without a cylinder, and keying and installation are quoted to suit the job.
