AML-01 Digital Lock
The AML-01 is a five-method digital lever lock for suitable residential or commercial doors. It combines everyday lever operation with TTLock app management, PIN code, RFID credential, fingerprint and manual key access.
Who is the AML-01 suited to?
The AML-01 can suit homes, offices and other appropriate doors where several people need convenient access without relying on a traditional key for every entry. Before recommending it, Abetta checks the door construction, existing preparation, backset, handing, weather exposure and how the door is actually used.
For commercial premises, the required door function, egress and any fire-door considerations also need to be assessed before installation.
Five ways to unlock
- TTLock Bluetooth application for supported app-based administration and access.
- PIN code for keyless keypad entry.
- RFID card or credential for users who prefer a physical credential.
- Fingerprint for convenient biometric access.
- Manual key override as a mechanical access method.

Why choose a digital lever lock?
A digital lever lock can reduce day-to-day dependence on mechanical keys and make access easier to administer for family members, staff or other authorised users. The important part is choosing a lock that suits the door and the way access needs to be managed.
If your priority is simply stronger mechanical security rather than multiple digital access methods, a conventional lock may still be the better choice. See our digital and smart lock guidance for a broader overview.

TTLock application
The application can be used to administer supported lock features. Exact functions depend on the lock, gateway and configuration selected. A suitable Wi-Fi gateway can add supported remote functions where required.
What happens if the batteries go flat?
The AML-01 uses four AA alkaline batteries and includes an emergency USB power connection for a flat-battery situation. Battery life varies with usage, environment and configuration, so batteries should be treated as a maintenance item rather than forgotten after installation.
Installation considerations
Digital locks are more dependent on correct door preparation than their glossy front panel suggests. Existing holes, latch position, door thickness, alignment and clearance all matter. A lock that technically fits can still be the wrong solution if the door binds, is exposed to unsuitable weather or needs a different locking function.
For existing doors, photographs of both sides of the door, the door edge and the current lock help us assess suitability before attendance.
AML-01 FAQs
Can I still use a key?
Yes. The AML-01 includes a manual key override in addition to its digital access methods.
Does it work with Wi-Fi?
The lock supports a suitable TTLock Wi-Fi gateway. Exact remote functions depend on the gateway and configuration.
Is it suitable for every front door?
No. Door preparation, backset, weather exposure, handing and other requirements must be checked first.
Can it be used in a business?
It may suit selected commercial doors, subject to door function, access requirements and any applicable egress or fire-door considerations.
Important: Digital locks are not suitable for every door. Door construction, existing holes, weather exposure, fire and egress requirements, handing and user needs must be checked before installation.
Is the AML-01 right for your door?
Send Abetta photographs of the existing door and lock plus a short description of how you want people to gain access. We can help determine whether the AML-01 or another locking option is more appropriate.
