AML-05 Digital Lock
The AML-05 is a compact five-method digital lever lock intended for suitable residential doors. It combines TTLock app management, PIN code, RFID credential, fingerprint and manual key access in a smaller lever-lock format.
Where does the AML-05 fit?
The AML-05 can suit selected home, unit and other residential doors where convenient keyless entry is wanted without moving to a larger digital lock format. Its compact dimensions may make it attractive for some existing openings, but physical size alone does not determine compatibility.

Why choose the compact AML-05?
The main appeal is combining several access methods in a relatively compact lever-lock design. It may be useful where different household members prefer different ways to unlock the door, or where PIN and credential access are more convenient than issuing additional mechanical keys.
It is not automatically a better security choice than a quality mechanical lock. The correct solution depends on the door, required locking function and how access needs to be managed. See our digital and smart lock guidance.
TTLock application
The TTLock application can administer supported features. Exact functions depend on the lock and configuration. A compatible Wi-Fi gateway can provide supported remote functionality where required.
Battery and emergency access
The AML-05 operates on four AA alkaline batteries. Actual battery life depends on use, conditions and configuration. The emergency USB connection provides temporary power in a flat-battery situation, while the manual key provides a separate mechanical access method.
Before replacing an existing lock
Existing holes are one of the biggest considerations when retrofitting a digital lock. The new escutcheon needs to cover or work with the previous preparation, and the latch must align correctly with the frame. A badly aligned door should be corrected rather than expecting the digital lock to drag the door into position.
Send photographs of the inside, outside and edge of the door when requesting an estimate. That often lets us identify obvious compatibility issues before attendance.
AML-05 FAQs
Can the AML-05 be opened without a phone?
Yes. PIN, RFID, fingerprint and manual key access are available in addition to supported app functions.
Does it need Wi-Fi to unlock?
No. Bluetooth/app and other local access methods do not inherently require a Wi-Fi gateway. A compatible gateway is used for supported remote functions.
Is it suitable for exposed external doors?
Weather exposure must be assessed before installation. Do not assume a digital lock is appropriate simply because it physically fits the door.
Can it replace any lever set?
No. Backset, preparation, dimensions, handing and door condition need to be checked.
Important: Digital locks are not suitable for every door. Door construction, existing holes, weather exposure, fire and egress requirements, handing and user needs must be checked before installation.
