Complete 60 mm mortice lock kit with ART-SQ furniture and cylinder
The LOCKTON ML60-KIT2 is a complete entrance-function mechanical mortice lock package for suitable hinged doors. It combines the SG-ML60 mortice lock with outside cylinder-and-lever furniture, inside turn-snib-and-lever furniture, and one Australian oval cylinder.
The selected backset, handle type, keying and internal operation must be matched to the actual doorway rather than selected solely from the kit name.

What’s included in the ML60-KIT2?
Unlike the SG-ML60 lock-body-only product, the entrance kit groups the matching LOCKTON mortice lock, external and internal ART-SQ furniture and a selected oval cylinder.

Any installation screws, strike and templates included in the underlying SG-ML60 packaging remain subject to the exact supplied kit and manufacturer documentation. Do not assume the kit includes an electric strike, door closer, custom restricted cylinder, additional master-key work or special door preparation accessories.
How the entrance function operates
The outside SQ-01C-25-SCP plate has a lever and Australian oval cylinder aperture for keyed access. The inside SQ-13V-25-SCP plate includes a lever and turn snib. The SG-ML60 locking dial selects the required lock function and must be configured during installation. The chosen mode determines how the handles and cylinder interact.
Matching the keying and lock function
KA can be used for selected compatible keyed-alike cylinder arrangements, but does not automatically match existing property keys. KD is a separate key combination. ALB is a manufacturer-listed variant whose exact profile must be confirmed. For master-keyed or restricted-key properties, provide existing keying details before ordering.

The black version is supplied as its own complete kit with black ART-SQ furniture and matching cylinder. Do not combine black-kit part numbers with the standard satin chrome kit without specifically selecting that configuration.

Frequently asked questions
Does the kit include a cylinder and handles?
Yes. One compatible Australian oval cylinder plus an external cylinder-and-lever plate and internal turn-snib-and-lever plate are specified in addition to the SG-ML60 lock.
Is LEG-TON furniture included?
No. KIT2 uses standard ART-SQ furniture. LEG-TON is a separate interchangeable furniture range with different plate dimensions and fixing centres.
Can the set be keyed alike with other doors?
Potentially, where cylinder keyways and keying rules match. A factory KA kit is not automatically keyed to an existing customer key or restricted system.
Can an electric strike be used?
The SG-ML60 supports compatible electric-strike arrangements. The strike, frame, wiring, access control, egress requirements and fail-safe/fail-secure operation need separate assessment.
Is it suitable for every fire-rated door?
No. Fire-related supplier test claims do not establish that any modified door is approved. The selected lock, furniture, cylinder and complete doorset need to meet the approval for the specific installation.
